Group Therapy in San Francisco, and Online Throughout California
San Francisco is a city of undeniable beauty. From the sprawling coastline and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge to the rolling hills and colorful Victorian homes, it is truly one of a kind. You are also one of a kind, and your challenges and lived experiences are unique to you. You may be struggling with work-related stress, the weight of new parenthood, or grieving a loss. You may be facing financial challenges, health concerns, or stress in your relationships with loved ones.
Regardless of the reason, our practice is honored to work with clients from all over the Golden State at all stages of life. Our goal is to offer you a space to slow down, talk openly, and process the issues that matter to you. Through evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, and Person-Centered Therapy, we help you step out of the noise of the world and begin intentionally working toward greater mental clarity and stability. We’re also proud to offer bilingual therapy in Spanish and English, so language is never a barrier to getting the care you deserve. Life can be difficult to navigate, but you don’t need to do it alone.
Shared Struggles, Shared Strength
Are you feeling isolated by a struggle that others don't fully understand?
Are you coping with a diagnosis of chronic illness or health condition,
or living with different abilities than those around you?
Are you a new mother navigating the waters of your new responsibilities,
new motherhood identity, or postpartum stress and depression?
Have you experienced domestic violence or abuse?
You don't have to face it alone. Other people are facing the same or similar challenges as you are. Group therapy can provide a safe harbor to discuss and explore these topics, without shame or judgement, and with people who truly understand what you're going through. Support groups can help reduce isolation and loneliness by creating a sense of community and validation around a shared experience.
In our groups, we create a safe space for processing grief, anger, uncertainty, and fear. We experience hope through learning about the experiences of others who have walked in our shoes. We increase confidence by creating tools to help manage stress or setbacks, increase communication skills and self-advocacy, and empower motivation and growth through group accountability. Group Therapy can provide a consistent, safe, and welcoming place to walk in community through the challenges we face, and build long-term supportive relationships.
