Trauma-Informed Care for Survivors
"Love Isn't Violent"

You Are Not Alone. Healing And Support Are Possible.
Experiencing domestic violence can have lasting emotional, psychological, physical, and relationship impacts. Many survivors of abuse struggle with feelings of fear, shame, anxiety, self doubt, isolation, grief, and difficulty trusting others. Healing from abuse takes time, support, and having a safe environment where your experiences can be acknowledged without you feeling judged.
Should I join a domestic violence support group?
Deciding to join a support group can be a great first (or next) step in your healing journey. Survivor support can come in many forms, but joining a group of people who have walked through similar situations and can truly understand what you are going through can be a truly transformative experience.
