Coming Soon: Domestic Violence Group
"Love Isn't Violent"

Specialties

We specialize in facilitating domestic violence support groups for survivors, focusing on safety, stabilization, and empowerment. Our approach is trauma-informed and survivor-centered, offering psychoeducation about abuse dynamics, safety planning, coping and emotion-regulation skills, boundary-setting, and resource navigation (legal, housing, and crisis services). Groups provide confidential, nonjudgmental peer support alongside skills-building and individualized referrals, with attention to cultural responsiveness, intersectional needs, and empowering each participant’s autonomy and healing journey.

Treatment Modalities

We facilitate domestic violence support groups using a trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach that emphasizes safety, stabilization, and empowerment. Groups combine psychoeducation (dynamics of abuse, safety planning, legal/resources), skills-building (coping, emotion regulation, boundary-setting, communication), and peer support in a facilitated, confidential setting. Interventions draw from CBT and strengths-based, empowerment models, with flexible use of grounding/containment techniques, restorative coping practices, and resource navigation. Sessions include routine safety checks, optional brief individual check-ins, clear confidentiality and mandatory-reporting protocols, and active coordination with community resources (shelters, legal aid, crisis services) to support participants’ immediate and long-term needs.

Fee for Services

Domestic violence support groups for victims are $55 per session (group) (1.5 hours), with 5 to 10 participants per group. Payment is due at booking  (credit/debit card) (No insurance accepted).
