Service Description

A confidential support group for survivors of domestic violence offering a safe, nonjudgmental space to share experiences, build coping skills, and connect with others who understand. Facilitated by a trained facilitator, sessions combine emotional support, practical safety planning, and evidence-based strategies for healing and empowerment. The group aims to restore safety, increase resilience, and help members access resources for legal, housing, and mental-health needs. Open to adults affected by intimate partner violence; participation is voluntary and confidentiality is prioritized. This program may be a good fit if you: • Have experienced domestic violence or an unhealthy relationship • Feel stuck, anxious, or unsure how to move forward • Struggle with boundaries or self-worth after the relationship • Want support from others who understand your experience • Are ready to begin healing in a structured and guided environment This program may not be appropriate if you: • Are currently court-ordered to attend a domestic violence program • Are looking for services related to legal documentation or custody cases • Are in immediate crisis or unsafe situations (If so, please call 911 or contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233)


Cancellation Policy

Purpose This online group is a safe place for adults who have experienced domestic violence to talk, listen, and get support. Who can join Adults (18+) who identify as survivors or are directly affected by domestic violence. New members must complete a short online registration before the first meeting. How to find and sign up Sign up for consult with your facilitator and we will discuss dates and times then. Registration closes once class is full (10 people). If a meeting is full, you can join the waitlist. After you register, we send a confirmation email. You will receive a private meeting link and instructions shortly after. Before group Use private device and private internet connection. Have a safe, private, quiet place where you won’t be overheard. Use a display name that does not reveal your full identity if you prefer. Camera is required to be on. Join a few minutes early so we can start on time. If you can’t make it, please tell us at least 12 hours before the meeting. Repeated no-shows without notice (more than 2) may affect your ability to join future sessions. Confidentiality and safety Do not record, screenshot, or share anything from the meeting. What people share in group stays in the group. Do not post meeting links or details on social media or public sites. If you feel unsafe joining from where you are, do not join. Call emergency services if you are in immediate danger. No children allowed while groups are taking place or you will be removed from the group. How meetings are run Meetings are led by trained facilitators. Be respectful. No abusive language, threats, or harassment. Facilitators may remove you if you cause harm or disrupt safety. Emergency situations and limits This group is peer support, not crisis intervention. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 first. If you tell a facilitator about current harm to a child, elder, or dependent adult, we are required to report it by law. Facilitators cannot stop an emergency; they will help with referrals and safety planning where possible. Privacy and data We collect what we need to run the group (name, contact, short intake answers, etc). Your information is used to send meeting links, manage attendance, and provide referrals. Meetings are not recorded. Fee & Cancel Policy $55 per group. If you cancel within 0-12 hours of group you will be charged the full session fee of $55.
